"Butterfly Breakfast" was inspired by the memory of a blue-crowned motmot during a Central American rainforest walk some eighteen years ago!   Carving has given me a way of expressing my love of nature.  "Royal Entourage" is a modern interpretation of 16th century Renaissance art.  It was a real pleasure to see it received with
such admiration by all.

The 2009 COMPETITION photos are up ready for your enjoyment. This year's show was a banner year for carving quality as you will see when you view the images of the winning carvings.
