2017 Artistry In Wood Show

The 2017 edition of the Dayton Artistry in Wood show was hosted at the Roberts Centre, Wilmington, OH the second weekend of October. Even though Artistry in Wood Show has a new home and a new date, yet on the second year and new date for the show being at the Roberts Centre, exhibitors and visitors alike experienced the feeling of being "Home Again."  Artistry in Wood "just feels right" once again as it continues its legacy of being an outstanding and premier woodcarving and woodworking show in the United States. The Home Again feeling was experienced in the friendly atmosphere of friend meeting friend as if for the first time or as longtime friends reunited while 3500 visitors viewed the booths of 187 woodcarving and woodworking exhibitors and 25 vendors. Highlights included competition entries of 294 in woodcarving and 54 in woodworking; Eleven Demonstration presentations coordinated by Woodcarving Illustrated; Children's workshop projects; Saturday night Banquet in well-appointed lobby of Holiday Inn; Silent Auction and Raffles; Ornament Carving Competition; and most importantly being able to meet and visit with wood artists.
The center of AIW's Home Again feeling is the convenient location of Roberts Center at Exit 50 of Interstate 71 and State Route 68 which in addition to the beautiful ballroom exhibit hall that hosts a concession area with lunch items as well as the on-site Max and Erma restaurant and lodging available at the Holiday Inn as part of the Roberts Centre with plenty of free parking.
Please accept the invitation of Dayton Artistry in Wood to visit the 2018 edition of the show on October 13 and 14 at Roberts Centre, Wilmington, Ohio.
